Academics Overview
We begin teaching students at the age of 4 in our K4 classroom. Students are reading at the completion of their first year at QEI. Skills are continued to be built upon in our K5 classroom, traditionally known as kindergarten, where students are working independently and reading instructions to complete their assigned work. Our first through fifth grades are designed to continue enhancing our students’ educational foundation. All of our students participate in Devotion, Core Values (Religion), Spanish, Music and other specials.
Grades K4-K5
QEI offers a comprehensive kindergarten-readiness program (K4/K5) customized to enhance the learning abilities of kindergarten-ready children.
Grades 1-2
Students build upon their literary knowledge and begin to be fully immersed in mathematics, science and social studies.
Grades 3-5
Students exhibit independence through learning how to take notes, outlining and writing 3 to 5 paragraph essays and exhibiting their knowledge of multiplication and division quick facts.
